Feeding Raw Egg To Your Cat?

I’ve read that some cat guardians feed their cats either a cooked or a raw egg now and again and that it does wonders to the cat’s skin and fur. I know that egg is a great source of protein and some cat food includes them in their ingredients. My question is, if you feed raw egg (whisked or beaten), should you include the egg white or not? I just experimented and whisked a whole egg and offered it to my two cats – they each lapped a good deal of it but since they are full, left half in the bowl. So I know they like raw egg.

There is no problem whatsoever in giving them a whole egg. Egg white is the source of protein, while the yellow has more vitamins and minerals. I give my cat about one per week, just to change his diet a little bit and it is true that it makes his fur shiny.
Just crack the egg in a bowl, you can whip it or not, and let your kitty enjoy.
I have never heard of doing it to cats i used to give it to my golden retriver it is really good for their coats and its harmless, as long as they eggs are good and fresh.
Most cats love raw eggs and it is good for them.
