We will be milking our Milking shorthorn cows this summer, and will have extra milk left over.. Will it be ok to feed to baby goats? Id like to get one for my 2 yr old son… Id rather use the milk i have instead of using milk replacer

Yes, goats do very well being raised on cows milk.
usually you can’t feed the milk from one mammal to another – you didn’t give your son nothing but cow’s milk when he was a baby. While the goat probably won’t die, it’s certainly not best practise. It will also depend on the age of the goat since the older an animal gets the better its stomach can tolerate another mammal’s milk.
i have raised several bottle baby goats on cow milk and they are all fine my vet approves doing this for goats and you can even use vitamin d milk from the store it works better then the powder goat re-placer
