Raw Feeding Diets ?

I’ve been reading ALOT about raw feeding and it sounds great. I keep hearing alot of the same positive results….But I’m not hearing how to do it properly. Everyone says it’s great if done right and you know what you’re doing. So…how do I “properly” give my dog raw meat. What do I need to know ?

    Hi,
I have just found about raw feeding and it sounds great for the dog/s. The one that I am going to start with is called K9, it is all natural, including meat and bone, garlic, fruit and vegetables, eggs cod liver oil. I believe it was created by watching and behaviour and diet of wild wolves, the dogs closet relative. If you wish to see more go to http://www.K9natural.co.nz – happy eating (for the dog)

I’m soo sure that raw meat is good for a dog. But I do know that for dogs with diabetes they eat kibbles and cooked chicken together.

i am not sure of the proper way but i saw that you posted a question like this a little while ago. when i brought my puppies home i just fed them a little bit of dog fod and a chicken breast. they had a little diarhea the first day but then i slowly took away the dog food and just fed them meat and raw eggs. they are fine and look great. you will like the barf diet.i still give them dog food when i don’t have meat and they are fine with both.

It is very very important to make sure the raw meat and eggs are HIGH QUALITY!! Because it is so easy for them to get sick from raw meat!! It is really good for them, but it can be hard to keep up with and it gets pretty expensive!! If you want to use some dog food, I have found that “Innova EVO Red Meat”, Is the closest thing to a raw diet there is!! Check it out, you will probably like this brand of food! My dogs love it!!!!
