I also supplement Nature's Variety Raw into my dogs diet. And for kibble they get Innova Evo. So feed the same thing (just thought it was funny)
I work at a Holistic Health Food Store and I really think Nature's Variety is one of the best pre made raw diets I've found (homemade is usually better though)
Here's their website which will have a more accurate feeding guide. http://www.naturesvariety.com/ifc.lasso?…
Do that then watch your dog, see if he gains or looses weight. Then make the necessary adjustments.
Remember because raw is pretty pure and hasn't add all the junk added to it you don't have to feed as much.
Adding in some raw foods from your local butcher such as chicken necks, backs, and wings is a great idea also.
I would also not buy the same Nature's Variety every time, get the chicken one time, then the venison the next. Dogs are scavengers by nature and wouldn't be eating the same thing everyday in the wild. Also feeding the same thing everyday can lead to the dog developing allergies.
Good luck, you are doing a wonderful thing!

I only know about raw prey model however dogs should get 2-3% of their IDEAL adult weight a day so I'm guessing that the package is either correct or pushing more so they can sell more. I'll try to get a couple of friends to be more specific to your question they feed premade.

Another board I read has lots of information on raw feeding. www.petlovers.com I could not find anything saying that brand had ever been recalled, so it might be OK.
