Looking For Feedback On Feeding A Raw Diet To A Puppy – Any Success Stories Would Be Appreciated!?
My dog has been raw fed; meat, meaty bones and offal, since we brought her home at nine weeks. She came from a semi-barf home so had had plenty of raw before that too. At that age she was quite capable of crunching through chicken bones and could give most others a good workout!
She is lean, well muscled, glossy, has shiny white teeth and small firm poops. She is currently pregnant and the pups will be weaned straight onto raw food with NO kibble. All new owners will be encouraged to feed raw as well.
There is a yahoo group ‘rawpup’ that is for people with pups 7 weeks to 12 months old and the ‘rawfeeding’ group has many owners and breeders who have been feeding raw for years. The rawmeatybones link below discusses feeding pups and kittens.
