How Do I Start Feeding Raw?

How do I go about feeding whole raw? it seems so confusing to me for some reason. I currently feed Orijen, and add in chicken backs and necks a few times a week and some raw eggs.
but how do I just stop using the kibble? how do I make sure it is balanced enough? do I add veggies or no? do I puree them (How the heck do you do that) or add whole raw? do I need any other add ins?
gosh it seems so confusing, but I bet isnt as confusing when you get the hang of it lol

Yes, it is very confusing so you will need to do quite a bit of research on this subject. I’ve attached a starting point for you and hope you can locate the answers to all your questions.

Here is a website I started when I first switched to RAW. Maybe it will help you out, and there are some great links.http://diaryofarawfeeder.angelfire.com/i…

congratulations on making the healthy decision.
how do you stop using kibble? throw away the bag. or donate it to your local animal shelter. they will appreciate the donation.
Add veggies? no. this way you keep it as natural as mother nature intended it to be.
add ins? some people use supplements to add in like omega something or other, but i don’t so that would be up to you. and yes it can be confusing when starting out but it gets easy very quickly.
and start out slow. don’t start your dog by giving him too much variety too quickly. try something easy like chicken to start, and maybe after a week or so, add something else like beef or lamb. and eventually keep adding variety and you’re good to go. Chicken is recommended to start because it is easiest for them.
