Another Raw Feeding Q..pancreatitis?

when one of my dogs got pancreatitis he was about 10 years old and I had just given him a ham bone the day before I got from the grocery store but it was for dogs. He got sick, the vet had said pancreatitis from the ham bone. Do you think that was true? can dogs get pancreatitis from raw bones?

Pork is one of the most common triggers of pancreatitis. We rarely, if ever, feed it to our dogs. I would also stay away from any smoked or cured bones, they can cause problems.

Yes it’s possible. Nobody should “feed” their dogs a “pet store” bone.
