Chicken bones are pretty pliable, and easy taken care of by your dogs teeth.
The “wreck” bones, the ones to stay away from are the weight bearing bones of large animals, such as cows.
You could just replace a meal or two a week with a chicken thigh. Feed him 2% of his ideal weight for his raw meal.
RAW BONES ARE SAFE, COOKED BONES ARE NOT.

Turkey bones and chicken bones as long as they are none weight bearing will be fine and not hurt his teeth. You will need to be careful feeding necks as they are bones you’d be better off feeding frames ribs and backs and large wing portions.
lamb bones are also rather soft too as well.

No, they’ll be fine. Despite your dogs size, his teeth are very strong. The bones of the neck and back are actually quite soft, so not to worry. Your dog will also not get fat while eating this, it’s ok

I feed my old 5 lbs Chihuahua those and he loves them. Chis are know for having bad teeth. His teeth are fine on those. He crunches and breaks up the bone just fine. Go for it.

As long as your dog has healthy normal/strong teeth,
it will not hurt them.
Dry dog food is much harder than the turkey neck.

i’ve never heard of feeding a small dog raw meat…..but i think a raw turkey neck is soft, it probably won’t break his teeth

if your dog is a Bichon, then i wouldn’t reccommend giving him raw chicken or turkey. we have 5 border collies, and they find that sort of stuff a challenge. you could give him raw chicken necks, they are easy on their teeth and stomach.

i wouldn’t feed him that cause he might choke or eat a large piece of the bone and swallow it and it could get stuck in the belly and they will have to operate to take it out.
plus it might break some of his teeth don’t do it.

Do NOT feed a dog chicken or turkey bones. They brake in a way that perforates the dog’s stomachs. You will regret it. This is not about the dog’s teeth, it is about the structure of chicken bones.
