Question About Whole Prey Raw Feeding?

I am looking at all of the responses to my last question, and whole prey raw seems to be highly recommended. My only concern is that I have 2 indoor Maine Coons and an indoor rabbit. Do any of you who feed whole prey raw think that it could cause issues? My Siberians already have EXTREMELY high prey drives, but my Coons are part of their pack so they don’t go after them. (actually my younger one considers my female sibe his mama) I am considering doing both ground and whole prey now (ground for storage and thawing reasons. and i want to make sure my dogs get all of the cartilage) Also, I will be transitioning my Coons as well, anyone do whole prey for cats? I just want to make sure this won’t trigger an even higher prey drive in my sibes.

My dogs kill and eat little creatures stupid enough to come in our yard. They’re fine with the cat. They’d be fine if I brought in another cat… in about 6 mos I have to get a rabbit to help with training the Service Dog pup I’m working with (his new owner’s daughter has a rabbit). I’ve opted not to feed a whole prey diet at this time simply because he will be going elsewhere and needs to eat a relatively “normal” diet. (ie: I can get her to feed raw.. I don’t think I can get her to feed whole prey).
I’m on a couple of raw food supply email lists- and there are a LOT of people feeding whole prey diets.. some doing it with pelt and some doing them skinned.
I really don’t see a huge issue with it. I think dogs are pretty smart.. and I don’t see prey drive behavior changing because of how the dog is fed. A pack member is a pack member.
I have a friend who raises feeder mice for her cats. (If I lived in the country still I would consider raising rabbits and chickens).

I don’t know about the rest of the answer, but I know that raw feeding does not trigger aggression or prey drive. The dog doesn’t know the meat came from a living animal any more than it knows it’s dry kibble was made at a factory.
