I can’t believe no one has told you that you can do BOTH
Here’s a LARGE list of edible raw foodshttp://eclectusparrots.net/fruitandveg.h…
& a bit on cooked foodshttp://eclectusparrots.net/cookedfood.ht…
Main parts should be raw fruit & veg, sprouts or 24 hour soaked seed on a daily basis but they also enjoy a warmed cooked meal & there is nothing wrong with doing that for your bird!
At 14 weeks old your macaw will thoroughly enjoy & prefer warmed foods since he’s still a baby but you should introduce him to as many raw foods as possible too.
Macaws also need nuts a little more than the smaller parrots as a part of their diet.
Most vegetables are better raw, as cooking destroys part of their nutritional value. The one exception is beans, which must be cooked. “Green beans” aren’t really beans and are fine raw, but Anasazi, Black, Broad, Castor, Glory, Fava, Horse, Kidney, Lima, Mescal, Navy, Pregator, Scarlet Runner, Pinto, and Soy need to be cooked to be safe – for people as well as birds (canned beans will be pre-cooked). see http://www.foodreference.com/html/artred…
Sharing cooked vegetables (who eats raw potatoes or yams?), is fine as long as they don’t contain added salt or sugar.
You should also avoid avocado, cooked or not. For a nice list of good and not-so-good foods, see http://www.quakerparrots.com/diet/food-n…
Birds do not cook their food in the wild so I think it will be safe to give your bird raw veg.
Incidentally, my Dad feeds his Cockatiel bacon and toast!

Just don’t give them avocado, could be poisonous, best to check on the internet what is suitable for your breed of parrot
raw vegetables have more nutrients, but either is fine (some birds will prefer cooked vegetables, and others will prefer raw)
