My child is 20 months old (almost 21 months old) and has all of her teeth. She refuses to eat cooked carrots. I read a study that said most kids will not eat cooked carrots but love raw baby carrots. Is my child too young for those types of food? I want her to eat healthy and carrots are known for great eye development. At what age did you start feeding your toddler raw baby carrots???

As long as you supervise she should be fine. My son it is hit or miss if he wants them (but he likes cooked ones as well) but I give him them with ranch dip which he calls “white” Ketchup is “red” funny what kids call things.
Starting at a young age (probably 9 months lol), my wife would peel a big old carrot, you know, the nomral ones, and just hand it to our kids to teeth on and eventually they started actually eating it. I think she will be fine.
my son is 23 months old and i give him thin baby carrots to eat…. sometimes i cut them down the middle….. he chews on it mostly, doesn’t really eat it. he eats them if they are cooked though. but if your child has teeth, go for it!
20 month is not to young for raw carrot she will be find.
My 23 month old goes in the fridge and sneaks carrot sticks. She loves them.
