If you want to reproduce that diet, I would stick with small prey, like mice, rabbit and small birds. This is what they would eat in the wild. I would avoid meats like deer, pig or other large animal.
Kittens need a lot of food as they are growing rapidly. Feed them as much as they comfortably consume.
If you are going to cut up small pieces for kittens, don&#039;t select only certain parts. Don&#039;t forget, in the wild cats would eat most of the carcass, including flesh, bones, skin, organs, etc. Each body part contains certain nutrients and you must not omit any. For example, bones are an important source of calcium. About the only good thing that can be said for commercial foods is that they do add the necessary vitamins and minerals that cats require, even if they are sometimes artificial.</description>

I think you might get better answers if you join some of the raw feeding groups - don&#039;t know if you already know about them or not.</description>

my cats are indoor/outdoor. they kill all sorts of sweet ,innocent forest creatures.
but why would you feed a kitten bones and deer meat? are you raising a mountain lion?</description>
