We have always given our cats and dogs a little raw meat every day along with a high quality dry pet food. We would like to explore switching over to it completely, but it sounds like a lot of work and I worry about leaving something out they need. Do you have any recipes you could share and helpful hints to make it less troublesome?
Thanks a bunch.

u can consult a vet, which is a very good idea !
As you probably know, cats need taurine, which they get from eating the internal organs of the animals they catch. Proper cat food, tinned or dry, is formulated with taurine. Dogs can live on scraps.
Your best choice is good quality commercial dog and cat food. A small amount of raw meat is not a problem, but for the cats it would probably not give them enough taurine if used as the sole food.
“Fully natural” would require that your animals catch their own food, all of it. Not a situation that I would encourage.
just give them normal tinned meat
it is Much cheaper and they are still receiving the correct amount of nutrients they need
