Has Anyone Fed Their Dog Raw And Then Switched Back To Kibble? Why?

I was feeding my dog raw for a little while but he was so sluggish, so I switched back to kibble. Anyone else experience this too, and has your return to kibble been good? Or are you thinking of going back to the raw side?

My lab was on a raw diet and eventually went back to kibble for awhile. Mostly to humor a vet who blamed anything and anything on the diet including a genetic fluke.
Both of my dogs have been back on raw for quite awhile now and I will never go back to commercial foods.

Yep i have, it caused fights between my dogs. It was only for the french bulldog, she got very protective of her food and would snap at the others who snapped back. It was a potentially dangerous situation, cause a french bulldog vs. a weimaraner would not end well. We have since worked out the food protection and she does real well now on kibble.

Raw what?? not all raw diets are created equal …. if your dogs were sluggish why not look at what you are feeding and tweak it?
I would never go back to feeding commercial processed foods to my animals.

I feed my dog both daily & he is healthy. 70% dry food, 30% meat

Don’t give him raw meat. We always fed our working dogs on sheepdog mix which they loved and they had boundless energy. They needed it for the sheep work.
