I watch for sales and have gotten the best deals at Charlie’s Meats (No Frills) for 40 lbs of chicken legs (back attached) $37. I try to get beef and/or organs on special but have not found anything under $1.69 lb (beefheart). Is there anyone (or group) who would be willing to share bulk purchases or something?

Yahoo groups may have some. I dont know exactly where you are in canada, but there are many northern co-ops. I had to look through almost all of them to find one in my area and I remember seeing ones up north or out west most of the time.
