My dogs thrive on the Honest Kitchen. I rotate between Force & Embark and add in raw meat or additional toppers.

I have fed dehydrated raw when traveling... I found it cost prohibitive and now simply either bring a cooler with their normal meals or plan to stop at a grocery store and buy what's needed.
Hint: For those who feed LARGE dogs - cornish game hens come nicely bagged, frozen and are about 2 lbs or so... easy raw meal to pack for the road... they go on sale about twice a year for 99 cents a lb. I stock up!
