Raw Chicken Bones? Any Problems…?

I am constantly reading on Y!A posts from people warning of the extreme dangers of chicken bones. I raw feed a dog, six pups, and three cats and everyone of them eats raw chicken including the bones and has done so for years (except the pups of course :-)
I also belong to a several raw feeding forums that have a membership of almost 16 thousand people which equates to probably more than 50 thousand dogs. I have never read a post from anyone saying that they have had any issues with RAW chicken bones.
What I would like to know is if anyone here has experienced any problems with their dog (or cat) eating an appropriately sized RAW chicken bone. I’m not really interested in the ‘friend of a friend” stories (unless they’re real of course) but more in personal first hand experience.
Thanks for your time.

Personally, I have never had a problem with them. Chicken quarters are the main meat I feed my dogs.
It is more the people who dont want to educate themselves or are fnancially biased to not educate themselves.
I know people that have had problems with bones in general and it is because the dog is excited to get the bone, then doesnt know how to “chew” it.

My pup (6 months+) gets raw chicken bones all the time. 1/2 a small bird or 1/4 larger bird. He has never had any troubles with them, except when he gets out and plays with the other dogs just after his feed! Then he tends to throw it back a bit ( as you would expect!!!) Houdini, little monster!

Raw chicken bones are fine, as long as they are *not* cooked. Cooking the bones gives them a higher chance of splintering, which could be bad.
    Uncooked is absolutely fine.

I’ve been raw feeding for 6 years, never had a problem with chicken bones or any other bones. My 5 year old dog has been eating chicken wings and necks since she was 4 months old.

I haven’t gotten my dog yet to feed him raw BUT I have had to dog my pal’s dog bruno who is on the raw diet. Bruno hasn’t had one problem yet with raw bones of any kind let alone chicken. Bruno’s a mastiff so of course he gets large portions and he take his time crunching up his meaty bones before swallowing.
As far the people on here its people who have no hands on experience and are just repeating what they hear.
And its possible there are problems out there most of the ones i have heard have been dogs new to it and eating pieces too big, horking them back up, rechewing and then swallowing them back down
