I feed my cats thishttp://www.radfood.com/
Including treats and such. Is this really enough for them? I never thought it wasnt until recently. Is it possible My cats are “starving” because they are getting enough food?

It’s a wonderful food. Raw food is great for cats. They are carnivores. It seems like you’re underfeeding but you have to remember that raw has everything in it. It hasn’t been cooked so they need less to gain what they need. I have a lot of customers who feed half raw and half kibble. They might put your mind at ease. Some kibbles I would suggest: Nature’s Variety Instinct, Natural Balance LID diets, Felidae grain-free or Taste of the Wild.
I don’t know much about this food. Is it AAFCO certified? If not, you may have to supplement with another high quality food (preferably canned) to make sure your cats are getting not only sufficient amounts of minerals and vitamins and whatever else they need, but in the correct percentages.
You should be a good judge of how well your cats are doing. Are they a healthy weight? Ideally you do not want them skinny enough to feel or see their ribs through their coats, and their abdomens should curve slightly upward (higher than the chest). Their coats should be in soft and shiny condition with no skin flakes and no excessive shedding. Are they active and bright-eyed? Regular bowel movements and urination?
There are a lot of naysayers to raw diets. I occasionally give my cat a little nugget of frozen raw food (I am mostly too lazy to defrost it, but he does love it). Really, you are the best judge of your cats’ health. Take them to a vet and let him give you some advice as well.
This is what my cats get. Our village is crawling with these little buggers and the cats have found them to be delicious.http://www.crexmeadows.org/Gopher.jpg
My cats have been housebound for almost a month now and they get their food in the form of trimmed beef scraps from the local abattoir. White tail deer season started here today, so by tomorrow night they will be dining on fresh venison.
The diet is fine. If they are still hungry you aren’t feeding enough. You can feed them as much as they want and they can and will regulate themselves
