Unless you're in the arctic circle, freezing will kill pretty much all parasites in raw meat. Trichinella can still be found in cattle as sometimes rodents die in the feed bin and get eaten.
There's only one species of trichinella I know of that isn't killed by freezing, and it's found in polar bears.

I feed my great dane raw and converse with many others that feed raw. It is extremely unlikely that you will infect your dog with trichonella (at least in the US) because of the testing. I have fed 2 dogs so far on raw and know many people that do also and have never heard of anyone getting infected with trichonella. I also feed wild game and know others that do and have never had a problem either. If you have done the research and feel like feeding raw is a good choice..then I say go for it!! Good Luck!

Why would you bother to listen to numbskulls?
Why would you ask *any* serious questions here?
Why would you "raw feed" when you have no clue as to proper requirements?
Meat's meat.
