I Am Very Confused About Feeding My Gsd Of 5 Months…so Raw Food (including Meat And Chicken) Is Good?

I would cook it. I boil chicken a lot for the critters.

There are many GSD breeders that feed raw to their dogs. A raw diet is a hard one to keep up with to make sure your dog is getting everything they need. The diet is actually called BARF (Bones and Raw food). There are plenty of dog foods out there you can try. At 5 months depending on the size of the pup, I would be feeding a quality large breed adult diet. A large breed puppy is alright. Make sure that you are not feeding an extremely high protien to your pup. Also, if you go with an adult feed, make sure that there is not a lot of calcium in it. What is your pup eating now? I have fed Diamond for years here. Diamond makes a good large breed puppy food, it is actually a lamb and rice diet. I use Diamond Premium Adult for most of my GSD’s here, including most pups.

If you want to learn the BARF diet, then join a Yahoo group that teaches it.
I use Diamond High Energy dog food. It was a condition of the contract when I bought my Dane puppy. Large breed puppy is the same as regular adult food. Only it costs more. A vet told me this one. Read the labels.

I’m not sure about raw food, but our GSD has been fed two cups of Purina plus one can mixed in for most of her life, and is healthy with a healthy weight. Seems happy with it :)
