    Hi
A raw diet is fine if it is prepared correctly. Liver in not good enough for long term as the cat needs muscle meat to survive. Stuff has to be added to make it healthy and balanced.
Here is info on making a raw diet for catshttp://www.catinfo.org/makingcatfood.htmhttp://www.catinfo.org/#Home-Prepared_Di…

    Hope this helps

The cat really needs a balanced diet. Eating only liver can predispose the cat to hypervitaminosis A which is a terrible disease that cannot be reversed.
The liver diet needs to be exchanged for a balanced cat diet which are available at any veterinary clinic or local pet shop. You don’t need to feed her canned food, dry foods can also give the cat a balanced diet. But this diet definately has to be changed

Liver is extremely high in iron, and this could have a negative effect on the cat. Why is canned food not an option? A combination of dry cat food, canned catfood and the occasional treat (like raw live, fresh fish etc.) can make up a very healthy diet for a cat.
However, if canned food is really not an option, then adding some pieces of lean meat (beef or lamb) will be a slight improvement to her diet as it is not as rich in iron as liver.

The natural diet of cats is meat.
Cats are meat eaters, designed to thrive on a wide variety of small prey animals, eaten fresh and whole. Their natural diet is high in water and protein, with a moderate amount of fat, and a very low percentage of carbohydrate.
Dry cat food is high in grain.
A diet of dry food is high in carbohydrate, between 35 and 50 percent. “Diet” and “Lite” foods have even more.
Dry food contains almost no water. Dry cat food is convenient to feed, and relatively inexpensive, but it’s the opposite of the natural diet of cats. Cats have no dietary need for any carbohydrate.
Cats need to get water from their food.
