Canine athletes such as Racing Greyhounds and are usually fed 28 -30% protein feeds. Your dog is probably just adjusting to his new food. Could it be that he prefers the taste of the new food and 'can't get enough' - much the same as me with chocolate! 41% protein seems very high.
