do you raw feed your dog?
is your dog’s health better?
how much do you spend a month?
what meat/s do you mostly feed?
why did you decide to feed raw?
thanks
I do.
My dog’s health is much better. The most obvious things are a softer more shiny coat, clean white teeth, and she does not get as lame as she used to after a serious frisbee session.
I spend around $60 per month on one 75 lb. dog, but if I were a better shopper, it could cost much less.
Her diet is centered around whole chickens that I cut up into serving sized pieces. Beef and pork are the next two most fed meats in my house.
I decided to feed raw because I read so many good things about it that I thought I would try it. Plus, a lot of people I respect feed raw.
In addition, once you’ve got your routine down, it’s not very time consuming to feed raw. It takes more time than throwing some kibble in a bowl, but the dog’s anticipation of a good meal make it worth it. If you can’t handle blood and raw meat, this dog diet is not going to work for you. I can’t handle the odor of canned dog food or even kibble now. Fresh meat has little odor
Yes
I feel that their health is better mostly seen in their coat and their energy level.
Approx $80 per month for 1 big dog and one med size dog
Chicken, lamb, beef, sardines, tuna, offal.
I decided to feed Raw because of the health benefits and how easy it is.
Edit : and eggs
