No.
Add: If the dog is not used to the food, there will be some loose stool.
Just dont mix the raw meaty bones with kibble. Grains and kibble dont digest at the same rate.
Raw meaty bones are great to add to the dogs diet. And for the teeth. natural cleaning.
I dont know what dog you have, but here is a great dog forum with many raw feeders: http://www.bigdogsporch.com

No, I feed mine a dehydrated raw food and add stuff to it sometimes. But I monitor what I put in there. Usually I just give them The dehydrated raw food with good quality hard food. My dogs have improved so much since I changed their food.
I could see how a dog could get sick on a raw diet if the owner buys cheap and almost expired food from the grocery store. But the dehydrated stuff has no bacteria until you add the water, and you never leave it out long enough for it to go bad.

hi,
Perhaps no subject causes more controversy among dog owners than the merits or risks of feeding a raw food diet. On either side of the fence, you'll find supporters who believe strongly that theirs is the best way to properly nourish our pets.
here's more info:http://dogtime.com/raw-food-diet-martine…
hope this helps.

I had been feeding the BARF diet successfully for 18 months. Then my Newf got an E.coli infection, probably from the raw meat. 3 days at the Cornell Companion Animal Hospital and $2000 later I decided a good brand of commercial dog food was better.
