I’ve stumbled across some info on it, and it seems to make sense if you think about it. I don’t know anybody who does it at home willingly. Any thoughts?
I have fed my cat warm raw liver and raw mince beef and my cat has loved it. I believe cats like the taste and the feel of warm blood just like natural kills……….Its a natural instinct.
By the way…this has been on very rare occasions her usual food is dry crunchies and pouches of cat food.
with the state of meat these days, i would avoid offering raw meat.
Much better to cook it and make sure that any harmful bacteria are killed off to avoid stomach upset
This is one of the most contentious issues in the cats and dogs category. I will believe it when I see longterm scientific studies on the subject.
In the meantime, I’m cooking everything especially chicken although I think rare beef – cooked on the outside, rare inside – is particularly yummy for cats and people as well.

I wouldn’t give my cats raw anything. It might not be that unhealthy but I wouldn’t suggest it. You don’t want to get your cat sick.
