I have fed my cat warm raw liver and raw mince beef and my cat has loved it. I believe cats like the taste and the feel of warm blood just like natural kills..........Its a natural instinct.
By the way...this has been on very rare occasions her usual food is dry crunchies and pouches of cat food.

with the state of meat these days, i would avoid offering raw meat.
Much better to cook it and make sure that any harmful bacteria are killed off to avoid stomach upset

I wouldn't give my cats raw anything. It might not be that unhealthy but I wouldn't suggest it. You don't want to get your cat sick.

This is one of the most contentious issues in the cats and dogs category. I will believe it when I see longterm scientific studies on the subject.
In the meantime, I'm cooking everything especially chicken although I think rare beef - cooked on the outside, rare inside - is particularly yummy for cats and people as well.
