How Much Raw Liver Should I Feed My Dog?

I’ve heard it can really give your dog a health boost, but I’m not sure how much is the right amount and how often. As for anyone who might mention parasites, I’m going to make sure that it’s been frozen for at least a couple weeks.

Only small amounts, because big amounts of liver gives them back runny poo. Just give them small amount with their other food every 3 days or so. You did not say how big your dog is, so I would say a Doberman size dog should have about 100 – 150 grammes. 3 x week.

When feeding a raw diet, 5% of the diet should be liver.
Liver should be introduced gradually or it will cause diarrhea.
I don’t really see just giving your dog liver being that great a health boost….especially if you’re not feeding high quality food otherwise.
