It is actually very healthy and natural! It will NOT make them aggressive! I have a friend that has 3 dogs that all they get is raw meat and fresh veggies, they are all very sweet and the healthiest dogs I know.
lol ya, its like women with chocolate. like don’t mess with my chocolate! lol. raw meat is good for them. the only thing they can’t have raw is pork. other than that your pretty safe with whatever. i don’t eat meat but when i’m at my parents house my puppy gets peperoni and stuff. i have bought ham or sliced turkey before and he loves it. you just have to get him out of the trance he gets in. make him do exactly what hes supposed to do for any other treat. otherwise don’t give it to him. he has to behave for it.
As mentioned, it can happen at first because the dog is so excited about getting real food! Also, sometimes people misconstrue playfulness for aggression. Sometimes my dog tried to initiate play-fighting with me and at first I thought he was being aggressive, but then with training that was resolved. So maybe he’s not really being aggressive? Either way, raw meat does NOT change your dog’s temperament and make him more aggressive.
It’s because they know a good thing when they get it! Raw meat is easier for them to digest, thus they have more energy.
When dogs are first introduced to raw meat, they can be possessive and hyper (they don’t want it to stop or go away!).
However, it will not make your dog blood thirsty. It is not dangerous, she will calm down once she realizes she will keep getting it.
It depends on the meat. It is pretty dangerious to feed raw meat to animals unless you are positive the meat is bacteria/parasitic free. The bacteria and parasites in the meat will definately change the temperment of the animal.
