The sense of taste, in its higher, more refined state, is capable of discerning what the body most needs at any given time. However, when blunted or debased, it discerns not what is wholesome in a given moment, but what is tasty, or even what will feed a health-undermining craving. A de-based sense of taste can be redeemed, returned to its higher purpose.

There are different times of the day when the body craves different elements. It varies with each individual, but there is also a general pattern. In the morning, the body most craves whole grain; at noon raw vegetables; in the evening lightly cooked vegetables, with greens as a staple nutrient-bearer.

The more “live” a vegetable or fruit is, the more enhanced is its etheric energy, the life force of the plant world. However, predominantly raw food diets are met best by a healthy etheric force in the individual eating them. If one’s etheric is depleted, by either a temporary, or long-term ailment, lightly cooked foods are easier to assimilate. For most people a balance of raw and cooked works best.

Experiments with live foods (raw, sprouted, and such) show that graying hair can be reversed. Also, there are numerous accounts of the reversal of debilitating illnesses.

Plants can be looked at as the inverse of the human form.

Root – headStem, leaves, – rhythmic systemFlowers, fruits – metabolic

If a person is suffering from an ailment that resides principally in the head region – headaches, etc – then the body will benefit from ingesting more root vegetables. If the lungs or heart are an issue, then more of leafy and stem parts of the plant. And if the issue entails the metabolic organs, or limb system, then the body can benefit from more fruits and “flower” vegetable portions – such as broccoli, cauliflower, etc.

The potato is not a root, but a tuber. Roots are far more optimal for nutrient needs. The potato feeds a part of the brain that causes one to become more materialistic in one’s thinking. Further, potatoes are debilitating in a general way, and also specifically debilitating for eyesight. One would make out better if one ate the skins of potatoes and threw away the white portions – but unfortunately, the other way around is the usual custom.

Ok so I started raw feeding about a 4 to 3 months ago and I have seen amazing changes, but i am stuck on what kind of mixtures of meats/organs I should give them. I usually go to Mexican town to get my meat but i have feed more chicken to them than anything else. I have feed them cow tongue, pork ribs, fish and chicken, and for organs i have feed them deer organs like heart, and Kidney, pork liver, chicken gizzards, liver, lungs, brain. So I want to mix it up at least twice a week with what kind of meat i give them so i would appreciate it if you could tell me what you feed your raw feed dogs, like what you feed her every week and where you buy it.
EX:
Monday: 1 pound of meat and bone with 6 oz of organs.
Tuesday: 2 pounds of meat & bone with 6 or 8 oz of organs.
Wednesday: 1pound of meat etc…
also what changes have you seen in your dogs from feeding them raw from, coat, weight, etc…
and if you could post a pic of your raw feed dogies
and any info on raw feeding you want to share is welcomed.
oh and no TD this is is a question and everyone is entitled to they own opinions, oh and star this question so that your Raw Feeding friends get a chance to share their knowledge.

For those who feed their dogs a RAW/BARF diet: Has any one ever fed their dog an ox or cow heart as a whole meal?
We bought our 6 month female labrador her meals for the week today, and thought we’d try her with ox heart. That will be it for organs for another week now, she may get a chicken liver but no more.
How do your dogs cope with eating heart? We gave her 1/3 (about 250gms) of it, froze the rest and she’ll get another 1/3 in a week.

I see a lot of food questions on here. I think a raw, species-appropriate diet consisting of meat, bones, and organs is the absolute best way to feed any dog since they are carnivores; merely domesticated wolves in designer clothing. Also, I don’t think a raw diet should contain any amount of fruits, vegetables, or grains since these are species-inappropriate foods and while small amounts of these probably wouldn’t hurt a dog, I think they are unnecessary. Some will argue that dogs consume the partially digested leftover fruits, veggies, etc in the intestines of their prey but that’s a myth. A lot of people feel the same way I do, but a lot also strongly oppose this method. Do you agree or disagree? Provide evidence/opinions for your thoughts.
