I’m Looking For Good Quality Raw Food For Dogs…?

I currently feed my dogs Orijen, but am considering either switching to raw food or including some raw food in their diet, the primary reason for doing so being their immune systems and general health. Does anyone know of any good quality pre-packed (preferably frozen) raw food for canines? I want to balance the health benefits of a more natural diet with practicality, and do the best I can for them within reason. (I know many people feed their dogs raw chicken, for instance, but having had two dogs suffer campylobacter twice, I have to draw the line at raw poultry. Apologies to the die-hard raw foodists!) I am in the UK, by the way, so please, no links to US suppliers.
Any other advice you have regarding feeding raw would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can I Feed My Cat Raw Chicken?

My vet told me to feed my cat cooked chicken as she stopped eating her normal cat food. She keeps stealing raw bit off the chopping board while I am cutting it up is it ok if she has the whole lot raw? I don’t like how much fats and oils come out of the chicken when it gets cooked.

I’ve been looking into raw diet for my dog and was wondering if giving my dog some raw meat would make him sick or if it would be healthy? If I ate some raw food I would get sick…Wouldn’t my dog?

I think and after much research I am beginning to believe these fanatical raw feeders have many false logical statements. 1] they say don’t feed kibble w/raw because different digestive rates. I ask Doesn’t skin/bone/flesh digest at diff rates?They NEVER ANSWERED.
then they say Dogs are carnivores. BS I say, any wolf in the wild would eat pizza if it were available. OF COURSE. These raw feeding fanatics need to justify their position. By the way, I feed my dog raw, and raw chicken bones DO SPLINT!

Raw Chicken Bones? Any Problems…?

I am constantly reading on Y!A posts from people warning of the extreme dangers of chicken bones. I raw feed a dog, six pups, and three cats and everyone of them eats raw chicken including the bones and has done so for years (except the pups of course
I also belong to a several raw feeding forums that have a membership of almost 16 thousand people which equates to probably more than 50 thousand dogs. I have never read a post from anyone saying that they have had any issues with RAW chicken bones.
What I would like to know is if anyone here has experienced any problems with their dog (or cat) eating an appropriately sized RAW chicken bone. I’m not really interested in the ‘friend of a friend” stories (unless they’re real of course) but more in personal first hand experience.

i feed them a raw diet consisting of chicken necks & breast, organ meat, fish, rice (this is the only thing that’s cooked), veggies and some fruit as treats. Sometimes necks aren’t always available and breast are a bit more expensive than thighs. I am sure you all have heard of the risks of feeding bones so I usually cut up the breasts into small pieces .
